I love, love, love the sounds from almost every Tube Screamer I’ve ever heard – TS-808s, TS9s, TS9DXs, TS10s. This particular Tube Screamer is a reissue modded by Analog Mike (a.k.a. Analogman) and is just a little thing of beauty.
I recently purchased an Audix Cab Grabber and my experience was very poor – and left me poorer as a result. It took me five emails to the company I bought it from (Woodwinds and Brasswinds) before someone finally recognized the problem and authorized a return. However, I had to pay return shipping even though the problem is either Audix or Woodwinds and Brasswinds fault and not mine. Since I had such a difficult time, I wanted to post this as a warning to others who want to use a Shure SM57 with an Audix Cab Grabber.
